Capturing the good, the bad and the ugly of lesser-known Spain and now Southeast Asia
(and yeah, big fan of Ansel Adams as well, but which landscape-photography lover isn’t?)
(1/200, F9, ISO100, 33mm)
wow what a view!
Thanks, Giannina, Ordesa Natural Park is very impressive; i like to feel small 🙂
Yes,I’m sure Adams would give a nod of approval for this.
Thanks, Louis, I hope he does 🙂
I love the play of light on the mountains – well made.
Thanks for the appreciation, David! greetings
Wow, that’s a great compliment, thank you!
¡Bellísima toma! me gusta el blanco y negro, saludos
Muchas gracias! Es mi copia de Ansel Adams 🙂
The rock in the mid-foreground looks like liquid glass or reminds me of that. Good shot.
Thanks! Guess when it was boiling up out of the ground during it’s creation it could even be more like liquid glass 🙂
phenomenal texture and comp.
Thanks, i appreciate it!
I look forward to more of your work
i can see the Adams’ influence in this as well. Very nice.
I guess a lot of b&w landscapes makes one think of adams, but hopefully it’s a bit more than that here 🙂
Oh my, that’s very powerful.
Glad you like this as well! thanks
It’s the detail in the rock and the clouds that attract my attention in this photo. You waited for the right light for this one.
Thanks for the feedback, Mel! The high mountains on the North side of the Ordesa valley (which you’re looking at) are always nicely lit end of afternoon…
This is a beautiful shot.
Thanks, bit different than the hats and eyes of lately 🙂
