Capturing the good, the bad and the ugly of lesser-known Spain and now Southeast Asia

Very cool. Would love to have that on my door.
Thanks, Cardinal, would need a strong door for such a knocker!
I’ve been there! And I took a picture of one of those too: http://steviegill.wordpress.com/2011/10/21/wall-knocker/. But I prefer your image, nice tones and perspective.
Aah, cool, I like yours too, definitely different and more about the shadows and stones, I went for the head of the eagle!
It’s funny that the same objects caught our eye and it’s interesting to see different approaches to the same subject.
Yeah, nice to see two totally different views 🙂
Intense & cool.
Muchas gracias, had an eye on these guys the first time I went there, but as they were 2 meters up I only found a way to get next to them on my second visit 🙂
Magnificent, you certainly don’t see anything like this being made today. A great photo. 🙂
Gracias, Mags, like Stephen commented; it is a photographer’s dream to be inside the Alhambra with it’s incredible art!
JUST STUNNING!! super foto Ron…wat moet ik er verder nog van zeggen haha
Dank je, Joanna! Dat is inderdaad al duidelijk genoeg 🙂
Wow! I’ve got to go there…great photo!
Thank you, Margaret! If you get the chance to go, book way in advance, cuz it’s sold out lots of times, and make sure you do the night opening as an extra too; that’s a magical experience!
If I had to spend the rest of my days photographing just one thing it would be the Alhambra. The place is a photographer’s dream, both colour and black and white. I suspect this is even more impressive as a print where your choice of dof will have more of an effect.
Totally agree with you, Stephen, it is an amazing place, had the opportunity to go there twice last year and especially the Nasrid palace; would have been especially great to see it the way Washington Irving saw it, before all the restauration! I do print some of the photos I like the most every couple of months, say around 20 and for sure everything looks much better in print! Greetings
i don’t know if it’s just me, but the image is not loading… just thought i’d tell you 🙂
Thanks, Alessandro, think wp was a bit too quick for me, but made it all the more mysterious I hope 🙂
i seriously had to replay all the granada images from my mind… 😉
Hope that by adding the photo I stopped your mind from overloading?! 🙂
wow – great image. nope, my imagination achieved nothing as lovely as your camera did – well done! 😉
Thanks, maybe nice thing to first post the description and let the imaginations flow before coming up with it, but it could as well dissapoint a lot by then 🙂
