Capturing the good, the bad and the ugly of lesser-known Spain and now Southeast Asia
(1/160, F8, ISO100, 10mm)
wonderful exposure, excellent lighting.
Thanks, funny thing is that the main focus on the straw vs wall only arrived during the postprocessing! greetings, Ron
So dramatic… love it 🙂
Thank you, Bashar, I love me some drama too 🙂
Love it; especially the vignetting on the upper left.
Thanks, John, it was a bit of the burn edges feature in Nik Silver Efex which I sometimes like and here I thought it accentuated the castle ruin!
Excellent capturing of light on the straw against the dark background. The crispness of the lines suggests an etching.
Thanks Louis! When I started postprocessing in color I noticed the contrasty straws (on the dark background) which in my opinion made the pic more interesting, so thats why I opted for B&W, although I can never get enough of the orange/beige colours and lue skies of Aragon 🙂
LikE very much.
Me encanta el blanco y negro, abrazos
Muchas gracias, Manoli! abrazo
Lovely. So atmospheric.
Thanks, Margaret! These old cemeteries and surroundings are very atmospheric places; just trying to catch a bit of that 🙂
Hi tis is a well controlled B&W picture – thanks. Andy
Thank you for the compliment, Andy, glad you enjoy it!
