Capturing the good, the bad and the ugly of lesser-known Spain and now Southeast Asia
(1/125, F5.6, ISO100, 146mm)
thanks very much, Guillaume, have to thank the artist that made this fountainous sculpture as well 😉
See you around, greetings, Ron.
Beautiful shapes and colors!
Gracias, Katalina, i guess the old still-lifes are a huge influence here, but this is a found situation lcukily 😉
All the best, Ron.
I like the sculpture a lot, but catching it in that light, and cropping it the way you did, really makes a great photo!
Thank you, Lynn, very cool to hear, the sculpture is amazing but the textures of the rust and metal stand out a bit more, i hoped, when you zoom in and i like the abstractness of it like this 😉
Warm greetings from Madrid, Ron.
Evocative. Suggestive. Makes me stop typing. The colors bring their own language. Delightful.
Thanks, very nice of you to comment and great to hear you liked this one. Greetings, Ron
Great photograph, I just moved to Zaragoza in Septemeber and look forward to following your blog to get ideas of where to explore!
Thanks, we just moved from Zaragoza to close to Madrid; spent 2 years in Zgz and really love the city and Aragon. If you need any advice or tell me what holds your interest, i know the area pretty good by now, especially abandoned villages, mountains, valleys etc. One of the most impressive places for me was Belchite, 45 min. drive from Zaragoza! well, enjoy and greetings, Ron
Great abstract photography with just the right amount of color!
Thank you, Todd, as long as the rusty colours are in there 😉
Superb. Very very nice. Great light and shadows, and those rusty tones are awesome. Really well thought out composition.
Thanks a lot, trying to keep the edges clean and the composition in some sort of almost symmetrical balance…
Nice capture! Rust and shadows.
Thank you, Stephen.
Wonderful colours and textures.
Thanks, David, guess those were all thought up by the artist, I just caught a detail 🙂
The light is fabulous.
Thanks, Gavin, rust, sunshine and shadows is all I need 😉
You made my day with this rusty masterpiece. Wonderful image.
Oh wow, Terry, thats very cool to hear, hope there’s more rust on the horizon, greeting, Ron
strong linear image…and i really love those colors and shadows.
Thanks, the design of this piece of art was very cool, I thought, it was standing in a fountain and those cans felt like part of a wheel that caught water, but it was only art 😉
Great shot – really like this one !,
Thanks very much, rusty textures always catch my attention 😉
