You Are My Sunrise

You are my Sunrise II

Even earlier that morning than my last post; this photo was taken from La Iglesia de Cristo de Cueva in Remolinos (30 km west of Zaragoza, Spain), a church carved out of the cliffs next to the Ebro river.
More than a year ago it got me on the Freshly Pressed-page, but I still think it deserves a remake and the judges weren´t too critical (luckily). Here´s the original!

    • Hi Cardinal, the Sunrise was already beautiful but was Lucky there was this extra lightsource coming from a spotlight on the rock 🙂
      All the best, Ron.

    • Hi Guillaume, thanks for feedback; agree on much color, but never adjust color with sunsets and sunrises, because than its not photography but digital art in my opinion, so i think the feeling comes from the spotlights on the rock and the long exposure just before sunset getting so much color in.
      Have a great day,Ron.

    • Thanks, its almost as good looking at it again as really being there, but it is a great memory stopped in time for me 😉
Have a great day, greetz, Ron.

    • Thank you, Noeline, was very Lucky with a spotlight on that rock cuz the entrance to the cave church was just to the left of the photo, from where i took the picture.
Can´t remember if I knew about the moon before I went, knew about the place, but, well again maybe Lucky 😉
All the best to you, Ron.

    • Thank you, Mark, think youre right about this one, actually, hhmmm, never been a time when it wasnt worthwile, guess should try it again sometime eh soon 😉
      Have a good weekend, Ron.

  1. Thank you for stopping by my blog and showing some love to my posts. This photo is amazing – the color, the lighting. I look forward to seeing more of your photos.

    • Thanks, Edith, not a big favorite on sunsets and sunrises, like em better in reality, but sometimes a tree just begs for it 😉
      Have a good day, Ron.

    • Thank you, Lisa! Guess I was lucky with the spotlights on the rocks (meant for the church-entrance)that went out just after the sun was up.
Have a great week, greetz, Ron.
