Thanks, Stevie. Went for portrait to get some of that blue reflection in it and some disturbing elements out of it, thanks for your support, all the best, Ron.
I have to comment again – I played around with a square of glass many years ago that I placed on grass. It was sunny, and there was slight condensation under the glass which made an interesting pattern in the grass, in addition to the crushed grass. The combination of the flattened botanical specimen and the light reflecting off the glass surface is a rich one, full of visual complexity . And in your photo the color really changed, too!
Hi Lynn, that sounds great to have the adding drops of condensation for more effect too – the flattened flower i thought was interesting too, like it looked when drying to dry leaves in books when i was young 😉
Thanks for the interest, really enjoy your comments and support, cheers, Ron.
Hola Barbara, bit late, but nice you like this one, didnt have much options composition-wise as i wanted to include a bit of blue sky and green valley in the reflection! Cheers, Ron.
Great shot, I like the portrait aspect. The reflection adds an interesting surreal quality to the image.

So many splendid textures and hues. Makes you think about the composition of things.

Yeay, me too, that red is so red, especially when seen in a green valley and one blanket of red poppies 😉
