Capturing the good, the bad and the ugly of lesser-known Spain and now Southeast Asia
(1/80, F2.8, ISO400, 35mm)
Beautiful. They don’t build like this anymore.
Gracias Cardinal, totally true, just hope they keep conserving the ones that are already build 😉
All the best for 2014,
Gorgeous-the light and color is so rich and sumptuous–perfect for an old Catholic church-and I love the carvings-
perfect close up!
It must have been AMAZING to see this!
I must visit Spain … But until i do, I continue enjoy your photos ! // Maria 🙂
Thank you very much for the compliment, such an intrigueing landscape, hope all is great and have a superb 2014!
Awesome! love the DOF
Thanks, it was a very obvious choice, i thought, not the most creative shot, but holds some information about the site!
All the best, Ron.
Great use of dof! Interesting shot!
Muchas gracias, Silvia, sorry for my late reply, but as much appreciated!
Feliz año nuevo para ti,
These things always look a little spooky to me. Is this the same cathedral in Toledo that has a red hat hanging above each cardinal’s grave inside the church?
These churches and cathedrals are definitely spooky, i agree! Cannot remember seeing those hats, it´s been a while, sorry for that, but thanks for your interest, i suppose we both have a Spanish history now 😉
Have a great 2014, Ron.
Great shot… would love to see the rest of the interior of this cathedral! 🙂
Oooh, its so beautiful, but I feel a little weird seeing it all thru my lens and not able to see the whole ´picture´that way!
Have a great day (and sorry for later reply),
amazing rich golden tones.a very sacred sense about this image.

Lovely depth of colour.
Thank you, it was begging for a DOF i thought 😉
Greets and very sorry for late reply, trying to catch up!
Great depth of field.
Thank you very much, didnt want the other carvings to be totally blurred out 😉
Beautiful rich colour
Hi Mark, thanks i thought the golden tones made it a little extra interesting for a pretty obvious perspective and composition!
