Another one for the Flowers Must Die-series (with my phone). It may look like an appropriate end to the series, but you never know when I walk into another one.

As you may or may not have noticed blog activity is very low at the moment, but no worries just enjoying some tropical getaways…

  1. a meaning encoded into the photograph is so essential. many people have ideas, many people can produce photographs. you can bring these attributes together and make memorable photographs (even with your phone).

    • Hi Kim, thats very nice of you to comment, exactly what I loved about the scene, but even the gritty background has beauty as well, the lines are blurred 😉
      Have a great week, Ron

  2. Great image – colors & texture. I, too, have started taking pics of flowers past their prime. Some of them are still quite beautiful in their dried stage, but they also have a bittersweet symbolism that’s hard to find…

    • Thanks a lot, Annette, there is so much beauty in the dying flower, I totally agree with you!
I cannot think of anything else that captures that like the flower, also in this I wanted to show the obstruction mankind has made (and decayed) for the flower to give it´s last breath back to the soil, like it´s supposed too 😉
Have a great sunday, greetings from KL,
      Ron
