Flowers Must Die part VIII
(1/216, F2, ISO100, 3mm)
Another one for the Flowers Must Die-series (with my phone). It may look like an appropriate end to the series, but you never know when I walk into another one.
As you may or may not have noticed blog activity is very low at the moment, but no worries just enjoying some tropical getaways…
a meaning encoded into the photograph is so essential. many people have ideas, many people can produce photographs. you can bring these attributes together and make memorable photographs (even with your phone).
Reblogged this on Noir.
this is stunning.
Thanks very much, Gav and very flattered you even reposted it, very cool
Cheers, Ron
It’s a great shot of the end of beauty and the beginning of decay.
Hi Kim, thats very nice of you to comment, exactly what I loved about the scene, but even the gritty background has beauty as well, the lines are blurred 😉
Have a great week, Ron
Fantastic. Love the gritty feel to this.
Thanks, Stevie, try to get as much grittyness from the grid as possible 😉
Have a great weekend,
Ron
I am awe struck!! Beautiful.
Thats so great to hear, Cybele, thank you for your support, enjoy it lots!
Hope you´re having a great weekend,
Ron
Great image – colors & texture. I, too, have started taking pics of flowers past their prime. Some of them are still quite beautiful in their dried stage, but they also have a bittersweet symbolism that’s hard to find…
Thanks a lot, Annette, there is so much beauty in the dying flower, I totally agree with you!
I cannot think of anything else that captures that like the flower, also in this I wanted to show the obstruction mankind has made (and decayed) for the flower to give it´s last breath back to the soil, like it´s supposed too 😉
Have a great sunday, greetings from KL,
Ron
Excellent composition and colours!
Lovely! And enjoy your holiday!
Hi Malin, thats very nice of you to say and we had a great holiday, thank you very much!

Happy travels, Ron

Hi Paula, thanks and (mostly) yes I do enjoy , you still holidaying (haven´t seen photos yet ;)?
Hello Ron 🙂 I got back on Tuesday. It is difficult to go back to every day routine. Pics will be posted gradually 😀
ah, yeah, understandable, hope it was very refreshing and looking forward to the photos with proof 😉
Have a great weekend!
Thank you very much, Ron, I’ll do my best and you go on having tropical fun too 😀
Nice background. Great colors
Thanks, Luis, without that deteriorating background it would just be a dying flower 😉
All the best,
Ron
Agreed and most people walk by images every day. Thanks for sharing
Love the texture and colors. Very nice!
Hola Carlos, thanks very much, glad to hear the series is still alive, although the flowers arent 😉
Have a good week,
Ron.
